Crystal Tears

I am alone in my room
The darkness creating a blanket
Around me

My tears are falling
Slowly to the ground
My nostalgic mind wanders

My past is racing
I struggle to remember
Every bit of him

I remember our past
His time with us
In our home

I remember the struggles
Of two life threatening
Episodes

Then I think
I don’t need to grieve him
I need to celebrate him

Celebrate his life
Celebrate our life
forever

I hope that people learn to apreciate people in their life before they are gone
