The Dark Stormy Birthday

This weather,
the dark stormy sky
almost as depressing as your heart, makes my heart burn
with the flame that was our love.
The flame that is now hate,
still glowing with passion,
the flame that tries to burn you out of my memory,
yet the ashes it leaves just remind me of our end.
The dark stormy night of our end,
Wednessday May 19 at 3:30pm.
You could not have chosen a crueler end, drowning me in tears
just days before my birthday.
Happy Birthday to you too.
