I’m facing a dilemma,
That many writers hate;
I’m trying to write a poem,
But I can‘t concentrate.

So please excuse me,
If my thoughts start to stray;
But I can’t seem to help it,
And-- Why do horses eat hay?

I mean its just dried grass;
I think they should eat popcorn,
And drink orange juice;
And whenever-- My shirt got torn!

It was my favorite shirt,
I‘m very sad;
Although, I think I know who did it,
I’ll bet it was my-- Oops! I’m so mad!

There I go again,
See, I can‘t concentrate;
But I think I‘m getting better,
And-- Oh no! I’m going to be late!

I needed to write a poem for my English class, but I couldn't think of anything to write, because I had writer's block, so I decided to write my poem about not being able to write a poem!
