Smile like no one can hurt you,
Smile like you can’t feel the pain,
Smile like someone can stop you,
From going completely insane.

Smile like all your friends love you,
No fights or tears ever again.
Smile like time can just pass you,
Like everything your doing would just end.

Smile like your parents aren’t fighting.
Smile like she isn’t really dead.
Smile like everything you’re seeing,
Is something you merely just read.

Smile.
Jesus has found you,
He’ll come back to take you home
Smile.
God is beside you
He’ll never leave you—
Alone.

This peice was inspired by one of my gym teachers. He was always telling me to smile in the hallways when he saw me. I never really thought much of it until I was having a bad day and he told me to "Never stop smiling!". That same afternoon I got on the bus and the words just poured out of me. Hope you like it Mr. Krause!!!

Ok! Why does it keep repeating everything I write? This is annoying me... lol

I like this a lot, especially the first two stanzas, because it reminds me of the reasons I smile...

It's like in softball, when a pitcher hits the batter and they get a walk, the coach will say, "shake it off... don't worry about it."

Maybe smiling is just a way to hide how upset you really are. Smiling is addicting, isn't it?

I like the last part very much as well... very reassuring...

I kind of wish that everything I was seeing was just something I was reading...

Belle -- Personally, I think this is your best piece so far :)
