Among the flowers
is a happiness.
Springs continue to spread
this affection.
Twirling butterflies that
glide onto the luscious petals.
But desperate flowers cannot hold
this type of security.
They keep a tight bud throughout the
day, and they don’t quite peek until
the whispers controlling the night.
They open in a still manor,
not wanting to open their
full maturity.
They’re confused about this world
and why it turns as it does.
To the desperate flowers,
they’ll never grow.
So, open yourself up,
show off the petals of abnormal,
and give off the best color you can
be. Because if you take on
these desperate measures of some
flowers,
you’ll never see the sun.
You’ll never see happiness.
You’ll never feel love.
