How can it be?
That you’re alive
You died that night
I see your face
And although your skin is pale
And your eyes are empty
You’re alive
Your heart stopped beating
But you still breathe

How can this be?
How are you here
With me
If you died that night
This can’t be right
The doctors said you should have gone
But you made it through, they were wrong
Or so I thought
Cause in the end
You died inside
And I lost my only friend
