Leaves blowing in the wind,
A cold Autumn day, I see you standing across the street staring this way.
Your blue eyes locked on me,
your blond hair dancing with the wind.
When a car goes by, you disappear.
All I can see is the place you once stood,
only 20 feet away.
Was that really you that looked at me the way you always had?
Why did you leave me once again?

The author's comments:
I fell for this 1 guy who left me and all i can do is channel all of it into poems. This was my very first 1 I wrote.
