I worry for joy
For the joy you get
When you meet someone
Who will change
Your outlook on life forever
For the joy you get
The first time you
Fall in love and aren’t
Able to fall out
I worry for misery
The misery you are in
When people do not
Understand your passions
And misguide you
For misery you are in
When the love of your life
Turns on you and
Thinks you can still be happy
Without them
I worry that sometime soon
Joy or misery
Will soar so high
Or so low
Life is on the line
