As a young child I dreamed
of love
Hoping that it would soon come
from above
I told myself I would find
It someday
But as day and day went by
It never came.
I searched long and hard
And still no sign
Then when I least expected it
Our eyes intertwined.
You were the total cliché of a man
Tall, Dark, and Handsome
I would get lost in your eyes,
And your touch was like a shock through my veins.
At the perfect moment
Our first kiss
I knew for sure then
That it was,
ONLY YOU!
