A Faint Deception
It disappears without a trace.
The option that they have to face.
Devoid of joy, faith, truth, and courage
They fall behind. Love locked in storage.
How did it come to be his way?
Each time they fell, what did we say?
Did we give our hearts,
Knowledge,
Or maybe a hand?
Imagine yourself in their place.
Just another person. A different face.
No one to tell you you’re not wrong,
While your time is ticking, along with the bomb.
All alone in a shameful mist,
The doubts in your head become a list.
The list of:
Reasons.
Disguises.
Causes.
Reactions.
All pointing to your destination:
Paradise.
