Favorite Quote:
The unreal is more powerful than the real, because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it. because its only intangible ideas, concepts, beliefs, fantasies that last. stone crumbles. wood rots. people, well, they die. but things as fragile as a thought, a dream, a legend, they can go on and on.”- chuck palahniuk

Go ahead,
Spit it out,
Blame me for everything.
Yell at me,
Scream at me,
Condemn me like you want to.
I will be your martyr and carry your burdens.
I will be your martyr,
Whether I like it or not,
I will be your martyr
I have no other choice.

Your pain is my pain,
your strife belongs to me.
I will take it all,
I will erase my being.
I will be your martyr
I will be your Atlas and carry your burdens.
I will be your martyr,
I am your martyr.
Whether I like it or not, I have no other choice.

The author's comments:
As you could probably tell I wrote this as a result of frustration. Rather than take my anger out on those who do not deserve it, I decided to take an alternative route by writing this poem.
