I wish many things
and here are a few.
Are you ready? Good.
I may astonish you.
I wish I could fly,
I wish I could travel,
to crawl like an ant
through mountains of gravel.
To go back in time,
foreward and then,
stop time for a day,
and be born again.
I wish I could stop,
the countries at war,
for them to make peace,
from shore to shore.
I know I can't get,
the things that I want,
and it makes me quite sad,
for it's these thoughts that haunt.
I still keep in mind,
the warm thought of hope,
though these things cannot be,
I am able to cope.
