A leaky faucet
The cool water drips slowly, rhythmically
Each drop is different
Growing larger as the golden handle is turned
Turmoil begins as the water
Pounds
The ceramic bowl
Madly swirling in an ever widening circle
Downward into the drain
The current searches franticly for an exit
It is a twister, spinning rapidly in smaller and smaller circles
Until
Tumbling through the silver grate into the unknown darkness
All that are left are beads of water clinging to the basin
Waiting expectantly
For a gust of wind to blow them into the air once again

A wise word does not make the speaker wise.

Meaning in the ordanary is more profound than the ordanary found in the profound.
