The eerie Clouds of Night crawled into
their beds for a goodnight’s sleep. The
Darkness overpowered the Clouds. The Clouds cannot beat the darkness as it does with
the Sunlight. The Clouds of Night are
ordered to be in the darkness as
they slowly and quietly creep over to
the other Clouds to talk about the
secrets that live in the day. Then

all is silent. Not like the quiet
there was before. There was no whispering
of the secrets of the day. There
was no sneaking about. Everything was still.
All was quiet. All were asleep. When

it feels like the quiet and stillness
has just begun, Morning Sunlight enters the
sky, and brings flashing lights and disco
balls. The silence is over and she
wants to dance after having to be
still for all those hours. The Clouds
of Night become the Clouds of Day
and they start racing across the sky,
most reluctantly. Even though at first they

wanted to ignore the Darkness, the stillness
is nice. The Darkness is over for
now, while they live their lives, basking
in the glow of the disco ball.
