painful silence

I have a silent heart that chooses not to speak.
uncertainty taunts it daily,
like the seductive moon
we try to reach.
Cupids arrow doesn't have any affect.
For what haunts this vessel is starting to weigh heavy.
there's nothing inside
but wishes of recovery
so that my heart can take in love and let it nestle
What happens here
I may not know.
Fear of abandonment and thoughts of doubt
I wonder if this will make out like a rose and grow.
If not, the thorns may poke and pride. and I'll be left out.
