Violent Darkness
I succumb to the darkness
waiting patiently for it to take me under
cloaking me in its violent misery
then, it lets me go
and it's almost even worse
the sun, it seems, is too bright
the smiles threaten to smother me
and i can't wait for my darkness to return
seems i'm addicted to this misery
don't know what to do with a chance to be happy
and soom, i'm so confused, and days become pain
and nightfall is my remedy
and everything you don't see falls away into nothing
and everything you swear is there
disappears into my bitter oblivion
my solace, my retreat, my addiction
my violent darkness
