Beauty
Beauty comes in many ways
full or bare i spend my days
can never get my head around
all these things, once lost, now found
do you remebered where we stood
on the steps in your neighborhood
listening to the bird up there
floating in the summer air
never falling, always free
something i know ill always be
look at a flower, in the field
a million more, its seeds can yield
but over there, a battered wall
where spray cans shot paint to fall
into a sign, to show the world
that even colors, though morphed and swirled
can show us how to live and love
everything is sent to us from above
treat it all right, for when we are done
beauty will be the thing that won
