Favorite Quote:
"What's the use of their having names," the Gnat said, "if they won't answer to them?" "No use to them," said Alice; "but it's useful to the people that name them, I suppose. If not, why do things have names at all?"

Watch the water seep through the cracks and drip from the ceiling
Because even through the trees, the light still shines
And down the path of life that we must all travel,
Maybe those objects that we see aren't as close as they appear
and maybe for all these years the mirrors have lied.

Because even on mountain tops above the clouds
city lights still shimmer and glisten
and the people below mistaking them as stars
make wishes on them
one by one, one by one

The water drips down the bottle
only adding to the confusion
a swirling mess of sight and sound
in a never ending mismatched fusion
of love, life, and soul

Back and white mirror images
always twisting and turning
bending and shifting
into new shapes
every time you look
