The Same Boy
She had liked a boy for a while.
They were best of friends and got on so well.
She wished for more than this but did not have the courage to tell him.
So instead she kept her feelings to herself and told no one.
Out of the blue one day her best friend said she had a secret to tell her.
She liked the same boy.
She tried to hide her surprise.
Shockd, angry and hurt she did not know what to say.
But her friend had no idea so she was hardly to blame.
Her best friend began to flirt with him infront of her.
It ate her up inside when he returned her advances and flirted back.
After a few weeks she could take no more and decided to tell her best friend her thoughts.
Praying she would understand.
On her way to see her she stopped by to see him.
He wanted to talk to her and get advice on something.
He told her that he knew her best friend liked him.
But he liked someone else.
She looked at him with hidden sadness as she realised he probably did like other girls.
So she should not have been surprised.
"Who is it?" she asked.
"You" he whispered, leaning over to kis her.
She threw her arms around him.
And told him of the same feelings she felt.
Finally he loved her.
Finally she was happy.
And when they told her best friend she seemed a bit hurt at first but after a while she congratulated them.
And wished them all the best.
