Dear Juliet,
Are you out there somewhere?
Does your personality reflect,
The color of your hair?
I want someone sentimental,
I need someone sensitive,
Because Shakespearean love stories,
Never end gentle,
And are hardly comprehensive.
If I started to compose a sonnet,
Would you melt like ice cream in warm sunshine?
Or would you hate knowing that I’ll admit,
In my lustful mind our hands are entwined.
Tell me you want me,
Tell me you need me,
I crave lips like sunsets,
Pressed against mine on the balcony.
We could sell our poison,
And hold back our tears,
We don’t need family,
To bring forth our biggest fears.
The only real enemy,
Would be our conformity,
Because the name Juliet Capulet,
Is simply a travesty.
Flatter me from afar,
And in the moonlight we’ll escape,
Kiss me gently under the milky stars;
In the dark of night I can guarantee,
That hand-in-hand we can end this tragedy.
