Ode to my Camera
Ode to my camera
Capturing infinite memories
Making time stand still
Freezing the history of my life
Each moment immortalized on paper
The shutter slowly snaps shut
The scenery and people captured
Memories will slowly fade
But photographs live on
In 60 years, the pieces of paper
Which contain all held dear in the past
Will be pulled out of boxes, yellowed and old
To revisit memories long forgotten
Photographs are you own personal history book
Good and bad times recorded
Family and friends live on long after goodbye
Memories that you can touch and keep forever
