Sadness floods through me
I just can’t stand it, why now?!
It’s not right, this shouldn’t have happened
It should be me; it was supposed to be me!
Tears roll down my cheeks
I hold within my harms the one person I loved most
My closest friend from the beginning of time
She jumped in front of me to protect me
It was my fate not hers, this is my fault
I lost my best friend because people hate me
I’m now alone with nowhere to go
I scream and beg her to come back
I hear a noise then pain floods through me
She died for nothing the man came back
And took my life, she’s gone I think as I fade away
Tears roll down my cheek
I lost my life and so did she
Best friends till the end of life
