Piercing coos
The empty sky meets the deeper, darker end of the ocean
The glowing aqua waves overthrow the people
Violently curling
Over buoys, bikinis and boogie boards
The white sailboat rides calmly
In the vicious ocean
Sails turning inward
Moving it over the violent wave
The sea gulls glide over
Piercing coos
Come out of their sharp beaks
Searching
For leftover fries
The perfect day at the beach
