You look at me,
I look at you,
You smile,
I smile back,
Words cross my mind but never come out,
Cats got my tounge and I'm scared,
My brain says "say something",
My heart says "move your mouth, make a sound",
But there I stand with a smile on my face unable to say a word,
Suddenly I start to float off the ground,
They're flapping harder and harder,
Wanting to come out,
To bad that you walked away before I could release them,
My feet touch the floor once again as I wait to see you once again,
Another chance to say what's on my mind,
To release the beautiful array of fluttering wings,
The poor butterflies stay inside,
hibernating until spring comes to my insides and they awake from their slumber,
To be released into the air.
