The black rained
Like tears from the heavens.
It soaked through my hair
Onto my skin
Beading like liquid diamonds.
Red petals drift as I pluck them
One by one
Letting them fall to my feet
Droplets of blood,
Crying soundlessly
Just like their keeper.
