Coming back to school was not what I expected
Coming back home was not what I expected
I thought everyone would be happy to see me after my long trip across the country
I had thought that teachers would somehow be different and not give homework out anymore
My mind forgot about how much my family really did fight and my mind stuck to that lovely image until I arrived home
The truth is
School is still school and I have to learn against my will
People are still people and the problems I left with are still there today
My brother is still my brother and he goes to therapy to help him remember life is good and you shouldn’t take your own life away
The true is
Hard
But what I want to know
More than in the world
When will the truth start becoming easy for me
