Two hundred and forty one
I had a family
A wife and two kids
I worked as hard as I could
And I loved life.
I had it all figured out
Raise my children
Travel the world
And grow old with my wife.
I was on a business trip
Sailing away on that unbreakable vessel
Leaving my family, like always.
But this time forever.
It was my birthday
April 15th, 1912
I was writing to my children
When water flooded my room.
Now I am nothing but a number
Two hundred and forty one
My children will grow up without a father
My wife without her husband
No one knows my name,
I am not remembered.
No one comes to my grave,
To leave me flowers or to miss me.
I am just a number; 241
