What was I supposed to do?
He was cursing and screaming;
My pitcher was scared.
I thought he was going to charge like a raging bull,
Who could blame him? I mean we do wear red.
But I had to protect the young guy,
I got up out of my crouch and defended him,
With a forceful smack I shoved my glove in his face,
Called him a bum and told him to get his rear end to first base.
He said something to me,
I told him to be quiet,
I shoved him with the force of a million men
Just another fight in baseball,
Just another story.
