Expressions don’t always
Speak loud enough.
Then again, she didn’t
Care about him.
Not really.
“No, you didn’t.”
Spindly fingers twisted around
Her pen. Today she had no
Book to occupy herself with.
His face was trying to tell her
How badly she needed to listen.
Expressions don’t always
Make anybody listen.
Because she still doesn’t
Care about him.
Not really.
