Walking for days
Little sleep at night
Lost in a maze
Searching for the light
No water to drink
No food to eat
No air to think
Blistering feet
A load to carry
Getting heavier with time
Feeling weary
The misery is mine
Throwing down the load
Giving up the fight
Going back home
Will be alright
Old relatives seen again
Clouds around my toes
In a joyful playpen
Smelling of sweet rose
On the earth, there is a man
Just close enough to see
Oh, the story is so sad
The one who’s dead is me.
