Any man who can drive safely while kissing a pretty girl is simply not giving the kiss the attention it deserves. --Albert Einstein

Walkin' through a forest
On a trail my ancestors have traveled
Their faces in the flowers
Indescribable beauty envelops my growing soul
Yielding a realization that this is where one becomes whole
My mind, spirit, and body meet
For me, a great feat
My home is where I am
And now this forest is home
From the ground I feel the energy
Infusing my heart with peace
I feel it spread to the tips of my fingers
And beyond: is where I'll go
But for now, I feel myself grow
Take it all in
The Earth's stopped its spin
And I know where it's at
My stereotypes I've hurled
Onto this sacred ground
To be ground down
Facing myself in a mirror
Peering farther than the skin
My thoughts are now clearer
I'm me
And forever I will be
Trees of Uncertainty
