seeing you, I thought I was in love
though I was more in the like of the moment
Admiration from a safe distance
the steady stirring of my
love-struck heart. I could not still

thoughts of
me and you
or you and
i
whichever is more romantically
correct Hour love dots the t's and crosses
the i's

--breaks the wings of grammar and syntax
because, Hour love is not
one made for rules, hour Love is an Ignatian love,
a love Open to Growth
a love for others

Hour love lies in the twilight of
lilac fields of passion. hour love takes off
into the sky and continues to push
dragging

gravity

along for the ride.

Our love lasts forever
but only in the reality of emotions
for when all is said and done
you are not mine
but I've enjoyed
this our hour love has lasted
and it was nice to meet you
