These Four Walls
My room is a place of heaven.
When you walk in,
It brightens your day,
The pink walls and the sunshine shining through the windows.
Here is where I go to escape reality.
I am surrounded by the memories.
The happiness,
and the sadness.
If only these pink walls could talk,
They would tell me its okay.
You’ve done it all before.
The heart needs time to heal.
And that’s what we are here for.
When you feel stressed out and you want to scream.
Come here.
Just sit back and relax,
Knowing that we are a guard from reality.
You can hide under your blankets like a little kid when you’re scared,
And we will not judge you.
Just put in those ear phones sweetie,
And drift away to the sweet sound of heaven,
And as the sun sets,
and the windows close,
you may lay your pretty little head down to rest,
Until the next day begins.
