Never.

Sometimes the earth just stands still.
The birds stop singing, People stand still and time stops moving.
In those few moments of never, between now and then, I just think of you.
Because I can.
No one else matters, everything else melts away.
And in those few moments of never, I am with you and you are with me.
We smile.
We hug.
We embrace.
And just then the world starts moving again.
Reality falls back into place and it weighs tonnes, crushing any hopes or dreams of us.
For we can never really be together.
Only in those few blissful moments of never.
