The Rain of Age Differnce
I love the rain, it's so calming and beautiful.
The smell leaks through my windows and into my heart,
making me feel at ease.
A new emotion is about to start,
it buries me into thought and confusion.
Through out these clouded weeks
the days without it hurt
I seem to miss it more and more
as the feelings come ashore
my desire for the rain
to wash away the mask I wear
The pain I feel through out winter
The cold nipping at my wet, freshly washed hair
Soon the warmth will come, along with evaporation of what I love most
