I Wish

I wish I could tell you my true feelings,
Feelings I didn’t have to hide.
I wish I could tell you how much I want you,
But right now, you’re wantin somebody else.
I wish I could talk to you as more than just a friend.
If you knew my true feelings, would you feel the same way?
And if you didn’t, would you treat me the same?
Talk to me the same?
Would you even talk to me at all?
True feelings for a true guy.
One day, you’ll know who you are,
But until then, I’ll just stick to admiring you from afar.
I have only two words to say and they are,
I Wish.
