The past is gone,
But not the memories.
What happened there,
Isn't something to just forgive & forget.
At first thought,
it seems you should let it go,
But if you forget the past,
How do you remember the memories?

My friend inspired me to write this. She's always saying how I bring up the past a lot, but how can't I when it was so bad?
