I watch the rain
Fall on his
Galosh
With every

And every
Swish
I look outside
And make a
Wish
Dalop
Dalop
Bloop
Bloop
The rain hits hard
On my front
Stoop
With every
Dalop
And every
Bloop
My head starts
To hang low
And really
Droops
In my conscious
I hear the noise
Of the rain
Dropping
And
Plopping
And
Swishing
And
Swashing
Until it
Finally
Fades
Away
