I can fly

When I told you I could fly, you didn’t get it
It just doesn’t make sense
I know it doesn’t but to my friend it does, to me it does
She flies all the time
Sometimes I wish I could fly with her or she would stop flying
But she can’t stop flying it is too hard
I stopped and can’t start again at least for now
I don’t want to start because it hurts my memory
I want to keep her below the clouds
She flies so close sometimes I think she’s gone, but she always comes back around
It keeps getting worse though, sometime she flies for hours or days
I call her every day to make sure she’s okay
She’ll call me once a month or less to my every day
I always wonder if she passed the clouds
I’ve known her long, she’s been though my pain and I go through hers
I used to fly and nobody ever suspected anything
It’s just like sleeping
Someday I’m going to fly up with her in my arms
We’ll go through the clouds
But I’m not ready yet
