Does it really matter that I ran
And left you classic boot prints. While you stood behind
Laughing at me
Holding the hand of a pretend ghost
Watching me spin around the streets
With my head cut off
And you and you snide experience
Overpower me and my inadiquacy
To God I hope my childish fear
Made you forget this

The author's comments:
So I wrote this after I was a party where the cops showed up. My best friend and I got scared so we ran off. We found out the cop wasn't there to bust up the party. A lot of kids were laughing at us for "jumping the gun" and getting so freaked out and I felt pretty dumb afterwards. I hope anyone else who's been in a situation like this can relate :)
