Never Have True Happiness
I have two choices that I see,
both unfair and unruly.
Each path set out for me
can never bring true happiness.
One path leads to a brand new life:
Fresh start and new beginnings,
but leaving isn’t easy,
when you have to let go on of the ones you love.
The other path, pure love and destruction
where I might meet my ultimate demise.
The only good thing that I see is,
I won’t leave my loved ones behind.
Do I choose the path of fresh beginnings?
But my hearts in a different state.
Or do I choose to keep my heart,
and plan my plummeting fate.
I have two choices that I see,
both unfair and unruly.
But each path set out for me,
can never bring true happiness.
