Visions of Innocence
Vulnerability
Something now that seems so silly
Every child wants to grow so fast
To make childhood the past
Younger and younger
Children start to grow up
Forgetting play time
Already starting the social climb
Where has the innocence gone
What has this life done
The little girls with the little bows
Already starting to make foes
The little boys with their monster trucks
Now all try to make a quick buck
The old faerie tales blow away
With the wind
One last whisper, one last
"The end."
