Once my life here was done
I made my way to the sky
I heard the psalms of the angels
as the stars passed by

I made it to heaven
but I was definitely surprised
my thoughts of heaven
had just been revised

there was James
the boy who bullied me in 3rd grade
he was the cause
of every office trip I made

there was even Louis, our towns notorious drug dealer
with his thugs all around
they seemed in shock
their mouths almost hit the ground

then I finally saw my family
my parents finally there
but instead of seeing a welcoming smile
only a vacant stare

I tugged on an angel
"What are they doing?" I shouted
maybe it was Louis
but that I somehow doubted

"Now child" the angel said
"I'll tell you why they're here and why they do what they do"
"They're all in shock...they never thought they'd see you"
