Heal Her Scars

April 19, 2010

Why is it that your stare stops my heart?
Your voice sends shivers up my spine.

When you’re around,
I feel numb

The searing hatred courses through my veins,
Bestial emotions run my mind.

No longer a human,
A monster consumes me and takes over.

Because every time I come home,
The women who raised me is not who she was.

A quivering mess,
Worth nothing, according to herself.

You broke her heart.
It can’t be mended,

Now I wish on shooting stars,
That I could heal all her scars.
