Sometime soon none of this will matter.
I'll be gone, Mother, and you'll
still be here screaming
at him. Doing nothing important
except watering your dying plants.
You think he's cheating
on you with that boss of his
whenever he leaves town
to work and earn our money.
So sometime soon none of this will matter.
I'll be gone
and you'll be living alone with George,
the cat.

Won't it matter at all? I mean, for her sake?
