Dusk will bleed this afternoon,
Seep into leaden veils,
For earth made it so

I cannot assuage this earth
To forgo its spill
Because though this afternoon
The sky will leak fire,
rolling gloom will burn away,
And my eyes will gleam agape
Finding its color necessary,
Finding this dusk
Beautiful
