No More Music In Her Head
Piano keys stained scarlet red
no more music in her head
life is gone from her cold form
but her heart still feels warm
guilt should be where numbness is
but once again I feel none of this
she cried, she did
I remember this well
but blame her not
she had good reason
after all this was a treason
high above I think she'd fly
even someone as clever as I
could not follow her
to a place in the sky
Her music I'll miss
of this be sure
but perhaps I might endure.
