Untitled Continued
So when I said the heart stopped beating
I didn’t mean it true
The world around me was falling apart
Cause I knew I couldn’t have you
See I wanted you so badly
I’d believe just anything
Like when you sang your songs
To me you would sing
Like your music was the only rhythm
That helped keep me alive
Like I needed your every moment
To help my heart survive
But I had to learn the hard way
There really was no true beat
My heart was only praying to God
For the sound of baby pattering feet
But lying to my heart
Would only cause me more pain
Cause my heart was a ticking time bomb
Slowly going insane
