an eye for an eye, and the whole world goes blind~Ghandi

Walking dead on your feet,
for you are my sleepy one,
pacing in the street,
for you are my frightened one,
blankets of newspaper,
for you are my questioned one,
covering lies in their favor,
for you are my mocked one,
brainwashing the others,
for you are my unseen one,
make them think that you're another,
for you are my hated one,
twisting your beliefs,
for you are my judged one,
claiming you as thieves,
for you are my stolen one,
they take you away,
for you were my hiding one,
no one hears what you say,
for you are my ignored one,
they put you in a line,
for you are my blended one,
putting your family behind,
for you are my hopeless one,
they work you 'til your weak,
for you are my strong one,
until your uselessness they seek,
for you are my useful one,
they send you for a shower,
for you are me forgotten one,
you're relieved it's just a shower,
for you are my worn out one,
but what soaks you isn't water,
for you are my horrified one,
and the agony pours down harder,
for you are my sorry one,
you bend down to your knees,
for you are my Jewish one,
you pray that God is seen,
for you are my desperate one,
you close you eyes and weep,
for you are my regretful one,
Standing dead on your feet,
for you are my sleepy one,

After reading The Diary of Anne Frank, I felt the need to write a poem about the Holocaust.(:

Very, very nice. Very moving, as well.

This is great poetry. It shows the hardship of the holocaust. I love it!
