Gone forever

I sit alone
in a room
with the lights out
I stare at the floor
my hands over my ears
to block out the yelling
I feel a dampness on my leg
only to realize i am crying
I am crying harder and harder as minutes go by
All the sudden i hear an ear piercing scream
The sound of mother getting beat
I hide and pray that dad wont come in here
I leave the room
just to find they have left me forever
Now it is time for me to go back to my corner to cry
